You can book couples counselling appointments for yourself and your partner on Inkblot Therapy. As a best practice, we recommend that if you have an individual care provider on Inkblot already, that you match with a different care provider for couples counselling. You can book 60 minute appointments for couples counselling. Free consultations are not available for couples counselling.
When you book a couples counselling appointment, you become the primary account holder. Your partner is able to log in to Inkblot Therapy and join appointments, but as the primary account holder you have different functionality within the Inkblot Therapy platform.
As the primary account holder, you are the person who initiates the couples counselling matching process. You are also responsible for:
-
-
Inviting your partner to the Inkblot Therapy platform
-
Scheduling couples counselling appointments with the care provider
-
Cancelling the couples counselling appointments
-
Payment for appointments
-
Answering the couples counselling pre- and post-session assessment questions from your account
-
Matching and un-matching from care providers
-
The partner:
-
-
Is the client who has been invited by the primary account holder to join couples counselling
-
Cannot invite a different partner
-
Cannot un-match with the couples care provider
-
Cannot schedule couples counselling appointments
-
Cannot cancel the appointment
-
Is not responsible for payment
-
Receives appoint reminder notifications and can join the appointment
-
Does not answer the pre- and post-session assessment questions from their account
