If you are eligible for in-person counselling appointments through your organization's benefits package, you can be matched with an in-person counsellor using our in-person matching process. After you have completed the matching survey, select the In-person Session Type if you are looking for an in-person care provider. You can verify in-person care providers by checking their biography information which will include their session modalities. You can also view the approximate location of the care provider in the Location section of their biography.
If there are no match results, and you would still like to meet with an in-person care provider, you can complete a Manual Match Request Form. This form will ask you to provide additional details or comments you have for an in-person care provider. This form will be sent to our client care team for review, and they will help you look for a suitable care provider near you.
You are always able to switch back to matching with a virtual counsellor if you want to change your mind or meet with someone more quickly.
After you are matched with an in-person counsellor, you can book your in-person appointments through the usual booking method and selecting In-person as the modality.
Once you have booked an appointment with counsellor, the exact location will be provided to you on the My Care Team screen or the Appointment Card on your Dashboard.
